Cookies Policy

Last updated · 12 March 2026  ·  v2.1  ·  Jurisdiction: Republic of South Africa

This Cookies Policy explains how Easy Kwena Solutions (Pty) Ltd uses cookies and similar tracking technologies on easykwenasolutions.co.za. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy and complies with the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act, 25 of 2002 (ECTA) and POPIA.

1   What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device to remember information between visits. They are widely used to make websites work, or work more efficiently, as well as to provide reporting information to site owners.

2   Cookies we use

Strictly necessary. A Flask session cookie (1st party) and a CSRF token cookie are required for the contact form and newsletter signup to function. These cannot be switched off.

Analytics. Google Analytics (gtag.js, ID G-FSJZ68QX3X) sets a small number of 1st party cookies (e.g. _ga, _ga_*) to count visitors anonymously and to measure how visitors move through the site. We rely on our legitimate interest under POPIA to use these.

We do not currently use advertising cookies, social-tracking cookies, or any third-party behavioural-advertising technology.

3   How to control cookies

You can refuse cookies through your browser settings - see your browser's help section for instructions. Blocking strictly-necessary cookies will mean the contact form and newsletter cannot be submitted; blocking analytics cookies has no effect on what you see.

To opt out of Google Analytics across all websites, install the official browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

4   Retention

Strictly-necessary session cookies expire when you close your browser. Persistent analytics cookies expire after a maximum of 24 months.

5   Changes

This Cookies Policy may be updated from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent change.
